Holiday Extended Return Policy
- Purchases made between 10/4/2026 and 12/24/2026 may be returned through 1/25/2027.
- Our normal return policy will apply to all purchases made beginning 12/26/2026. Gift returns with receipt will receive a store credit.
Standard Return Policy for Items Purchased in Stores
If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, return the merchandise accompanied by a valid register receipt within 30 days of purchase for a refund.
Merchandise credit will be issued for all returns over 30 days, returns with a gift receipt, and returns without a receipt. Merchandise credits are subject to the Terms and Conditions printed on the card and imposed by issuer, which may include restrictions on transfers.
Merchandise that is used, worn, or in unsellable condition will not be accepted for return or exchange. Returns of swimwear and intimate apparel require tickets properly attached to the merchandise. Other restrictions may apply.
Returns may be limited or declined based upon our refund verification systems, which are used to process and track returns to reduce fraud.
A valid, government-issued photo ID, name, address, and signature are required for all non-receipted returns, and will be required for use of the resulting merchandise credit. Name on photo ID presented at time of issuance must match the name on the photo ID for redemption or the merchandise credit may not be used.
Receipted returns are subject to validation/verification by our system.

Oversized items, based on size and/or weight of the product, may have a shipping surcharge cost in addition to standard delivery and processing charges. Shipping and handling costs and shipping surcharges are non-refundable.
To make your returns quicker and easier please keep your receipt.
Please note that items purchased at a Marshalls store can only be returned to a Marshalls store, in accordance with this return policy. Items purchased at Marshalls may not be returned to TJ Maxx or any of our other sister brands.
